Saraswati is the Hindu Goddess of the arts, science, scholarship and wisdom. She holds a Vina (an instrument similiar to a sitar), a rosary, and a book. Her name means 'the flowing one.' She is called the giver of essence, the mistress of speech, and the supreme knowledge. 2 inches wide, 3.5 inches long, 3.75 inches tall. Includes a removable holder for a small size taper candle or stick incense. With the holder removed, it is designed to burn a charcoal disc, cone incense or a votive candle.
