Midway Gardens Chess Set

The first chess set to be featured in the Frank Lloyd Wright Collection since production of Wright's decorative designs began in 1955, this set includes multiple 'sprites' and other distinctive design elements created for Midway Gardens (1913) in Chicago, Illinois. Chess set is cold cast resin with hand-rubbed patina finish. King and Queen are 5 inches high, other pieces in proportion. Chess board not included.
